The week of September 16th, we celebrated Truck Driver Appreciation week for the fourth year in a row by giving out goodie bags to the truck drivers who came for pick ups at our warehouse. We recognize the hard work of all truck drivers and we thank them for it!

End of the Year Reflection

Every year, I ask a question to all the iD Team to answer.  This year I asked everyone to share their favorite memory of 2024 along with a picture.

My favorite Memory of the Year was traveling! It’s been a while since I got out to see the world. This year I traveled to Jamaica for a friends wedding, Austin, TX for a girls trip, and Las Vegas for a getaway with three other great couples. Getting away wasn’t just about relaxation; it was a chance to reset my perspective, gain fresh inspiration, and create lasting memories. I look forward to many more new journeys in 2025 and beyond.- Lindsay Hosanna

2024 started out like any other year, but it would turn into a year of many great memories and I really can’t pick just one.  First of all my niece Carolyn and her husband Rob welcomed a new baby girl!  What a cutie she is.  My wife and I are a Great Aunt and Great Uncle, and we are so proud of Rob and Carolyn.  We wish them all the love and happiness we felt when we welcomed our little girl into this world.   Then my little girl, Rena, turned 21 and started her senior year in college.  It is almost like the full circle of life happened in the span of a few months.  We are so proud of Rena and know she is destined for great things.  In October, I was blessed with a trip to Vlahokerasia, my father’s little village in southern Greece, with my brother Nick.  The trip was a gift from Nick’s wife Jean, because she knows how much our family in Greece means to us.  We got to enjoy some time with our Aunt and first cousins in the little village we visited many times over the years.  I will be forever grateful for the wonderful trip and the time Nick and I were able to spend together with family and friends in Greece.  As in the lyrics sung by one of my favorites, the great Frank Sinatra, “It Was a Very Good Year”- John Sotos

My favorite memory of 2024 was my surprise 40th Birthday party.  My wife told me that we were going out to Dinner that night to celebrate.  A couple of my buddies said they wanted to take me to the batting cages that afternoon.  Unbeknownst to me, preparations were being made at my house for the party.  After we were done at the batting cages, I got driven home. I get out of the car and walk up to my driveway, where I was greeted by an entire crowd of my family and friends.  I’m not one to be surprised easily, but my wife really got me good on this one.  It was a great night, as we celebrated into the early morning hours of the next day.  I wasn’t looking forward to turning 40, but this party really eased the pain of that “milestone”.- Jeff Chierici

I have plenty of great memories for 2024.  The birth of our first grandchild, Lorraine was unbelievable.  She has been a joy and I am looking forward to watching her grow up.  Carolyn and Rob have been great parents and Lorraine has been a
great addition to the Sotos family.  The other great memory for me was getting to go back to Greece to see my aunt who took care of us as kids for many a summer over the years.  She is now 90 years old and Jean and the girls surprised me with a tickets to Greece to get to see her and our cousins in the old village.  It is a gift and trip that I will never forget. – Nick Sotos

My favorite memory this year was finally meeting family I’ve never met before! This summer, after years of anticipation, I finally went on a road trip to pick up all my siblings on my dad’s side that I, unfortunately, wasn’t able to meet in the past. We were able to play around like we were all children, share many laughs and form a strong bond on that short trip. It was probably my favorite memory in recent years! It felt like we all grew up together and like we hadn’t missed out on many years of each other’s lives and I’ve happily been able to keep up with most of them since this summer. I’m so grateful to have this new bond with my siblings and we will be able to meet many more times from here on out!- Paiton Powell

My favorite memory of 2024 was getting married on October 12th to my best friend of 8 years, Abbey. Some other highlights were our vacation to Italy and adopting our dog Blue.- Ethan Ravotti

2024 was an extremely special year for us. Carolyn and I welcomed our first child into the world – Lorraine Jean Young who was born on May 18th. Carolyn and I are overwhelmed with joy and love being parents. Lorraine is a very happy and easy going baby. She sleeps well and always has a smile on her face. We can’t imagine our lives without her and cherish every day with her.- Rob Young

So many favorites this year. But these were the best.

Pulling off a last-minute wedding at our house for our Son, Josh with his new wife Sarah and his kids standing up with them.

Flying to Florida for family vacation. Grandkids first time flying. They got to sit in the cockpit. So cool.

Taking the Grandkids to Disney for first time was really fun.

First time at NPE with iD Additives. – Dave Denzel

Let me introduce you to Marlee.

She is 4 months old. Our first Great Granddaughter.

My wife has had some FaceTime videos with Marlee, I got to spend a little time on a call.

She is so precious.

We will get to meet her in person next year.

My wife is excited to meet her in person.

I on the other hand I’m not in a hurry, she’s not ready to go fishing yet. LOL!Ron Bishop

2024 was another exciting year. Nicole graduated high school and decided to attend the University of TN Knoxville. We have become college football fans- filling our Saturdays with watching the Hawkeyes and the Vols. Danielle started high school and is loving it. Maria is in her Junior year, with hopes to graduate early in Dec 2025 from U of Iowa.- Heather Vitullo

My favorite memory of 2024 was my husband Rob’s 30th birthday. It landed on a Sunday and we decided to make the drive up to Milwaukee for a Brewers game with our daughter, Lorraine. Rob and I are trying to see all the MLB baseball stadiums and now we get to bring our daughter along for the ride, which makes it even better. I was nervous that day because bringing a 3 month old to a baseball game seemed daunting, but it was such a blast. That day made me realize all the firsts we get to experience with Lorraine and I just can’t wait for more. She has been the best thing that has ever happened to us both and everything they say is true- there is no love like it.- Carolyn Young
