— What They're Saying —

Steve Johnson, MoldTrax

“Many of our donated course molds arrive with water lines that are plugged with rust, mineral deposits and just general crude. The Eco Pro makes quick work of these no matter the level of contamination. Our course attendees that purchase the Eco Pro tell us that once set-up with the appropriate quick disconnect fittings, keeping the water lines clean is fast and much more cost effective than other larger, more expensive units on the market. We highly recommend the Eco Pro as a “must have” shop tool that will keep your cooling lines clean and your molds running better!”

iD Eco-Pro 360 System

Our iD Eco-Pro System is comprised of the Eco-Pro cart (two sizes) and was created for using the Eco-Pro 360 chemical. iD Eco-Pro 360 System is a Preventative Maintenance Cleaning System with a pump and filter combination unit. It removes, protects, and helps prevent rust within the Cooling Passages, Heat Exchangers, Water Lines, TCUs/Thermolators, Chill Rolls, Chill Rails, Feed Sections, Tools, and more. The built-in filter function allows the Eco-Pro 360 solution to remain at peak performance for optimal reusability.

  • Acid resistant components – designed for the Eco-Pro 360 chemicalRuns off your compressed air – no electrical needed
  • Safe operation – independently ceases if needed
  • Filters out contaminants, so Eco-Pro 360 can be reused until it is gone!
  • Safe operation- independently ceases when a blockage is present, avoiding downstream ruptures

iD Eco-Pro 360 is an EPA tested & verified, water-based, non-hazardous, ready to use green product.
iD Eco-Pro 360 removes surface rust, mill oil, flash rust, and oxidation (including white rust). It provides a pretreatment conversion coating, which seals to stop further oxidation.
Yes, iD Eco-Pro 360 not only provides overnight rust protection, it can provide years of protection if stored indoors. The coating does not have to be removed before production.
No. Since iD Eco-Pro 360 is water-based, it will not etch the surface, keeping it intact. It can be applied to any type of metal (ferrous and non-ferrous) such as carbon steel, stainless steel, galvanized steel, aluminum, etc.

iD Eco-Pro 360 can be applied by brushing, spraying, dipping, or wiping. Only a very thin coating is required, so use conservatively. After one minute of application, wipe or blow off excess chemical. If excess chemical is left on the surface, it will become a residue (chalky white), which can have an effect on bonding and corrosion resistance. This chalk white residue can be removed by another application of Eco-Pro 360, or by using a warm, damp cloth.

It’s recommended to use the Eco-Pro 360 cart, which was designed specifically for the Eco-Pro 360 chemical. By pumping iD Eco-Pro 360 through your system, it will remove the rust, limescale, and calcium buildup. The built-in filter allows individuals to continue using iD Eco-Pro 360. Flushing times vary based on buildup. Initial cleanings take the longest, but future PMs will have significantly shortened flushing times.

If your cooling passages are aluminum, have brass inserts, or the chemical comes into any contact with rubber seals (closed molds), you will need to backflush with water (can use the cart for this step, too). Most heat exchangers have copper lines in them – it is a requirement to backflush this metal with water.

iD Eco-Pro 360 can last over 10 years when stored indoors in a cool and dry place (no direct sunlight).

Simply dilute the chemical with a large amount of water.

Over time, this material will cause swelling and dry rot of rubber compounds – it is recommended to break material down with water (time varies based on compound – most take longer than a month for effects to occur).
